The Quays
The
Old Warehouses, pictured below, are one of the
most captivating structures in Donegal. These
Warehouses were used in the making of the
intriguing drama, 'The Hanging Gale', which told
the story of the Irish Famine and was televised
in 1995.
The Ramelton Story Exhibition,
in the recently renovated Steamboat Store, where
it portrays the story of Ramelton from its earliest
settlement to the modern day is a must for tourists.
Opening Hours are: Monday - Friday 9.30am - 5.00pm.
Open Weekends in June, July and August.
The
Donegal Ancestry Centre which is a Genealogical
Research Centre for Donegal is also situated at
this centre.
